HKD commissioned the project after seeing my cartoon of Jonah in the belly of the whale. I worked closely with The Feminarians’ band lead to create a unique design which embodies their style.
“I like how she is immersed in the sea of hair so I wonder if the angels should be yanking people out. It would be cool if Bring Out the Bodies were coming out of the woman’s mouth almost like a banner. I also wanna make it clear that the rescuers and rescued are both if that makes sense.” -HKD
